Today, I kidnapped Bobby. My mom, Millie, & I were all in cahoots with our friend Holly to get Bobby a pair of black boots for Valentine's Day. He owns nary a boot, and we are going to a benefit for Holy Family School in McKinney called Boots and Bowties, where boots are a necessity. Holly was called in as our resident Western wear expert.
What started out as a smooth drive to Flower Mound, soon changed as my car began to drive like it was on a jerky rollercoaster track. The steering wheel became tight, and seeing as I am Wonder Woman, my instincts kicked in and told me to PULL OVER INTO THIS MOBIL STATION NOW OR YOUR CAR IS GOING TO EXPLODE. Well, long story short, it didn't explode, but it DID end up looking like this:

While waiting for an hour for AAA in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (aka between The Colony and Lewisville)), we hung out in this convenience store and entertained ourselves.

Finally, AAA showed up, fixed the tire, and we zipped off to meet Holly at the Mothership of Western Wear.

We decided on these handsome full quill ostrich boots. Happy early Valentine's Day to my wonderful husband who worked so hard to remain calm during the drama that was our flat tire...you deserve the world, but for now, I hope my love and a pair of boots will do.
