Nacho Wife Yet, But She Almost Is...

OK, so they aren't even eating NACHOS! 

This nicely tanned, just-got-back-from-a-vacay-in-Mexico couple are snackin' on TACOS from El Juarez in McKinney (downtown, natch), and lovin' every minute of it. 

These kids really trusted me during this shoot.  I have to give them props for trespassing along with me to get onto this rooftop.

See what a little illegal activity can produce?  Chiggity-check it...

Love is a beautiful thing.  I am so honored and blessed to work in a profession that allows me to capture love of ALL kinds.

These were taken in sunny St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest city in the nation...who knew?  My mom, the former teacher, did!

And Baby Makes 3!

Well, not a real human baby, but their dog, Shelby, sure does qualify as their first born.  So much, in fact, that this JP Bride, Amy, had to include Miss Shelby in the engagement session.  As Noopsy's "mother", I totally get that.  We had a blast at their session, and little Shelby just was a doll to work with.  Not only does her hair match her mommy's gorgeous mane, but she is so adorable that I could squeal.  If there was a doggy prom, Noopsy would surely ask her to go.

I am wondering if she is going to be the ring bearer at their wedding! (???)

And One More for the Road

These were taken at a new development in Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney.  It's called Adriatica and it's architectural details are modeled after that of a Croatian village.  I thought it would be a neat idea to do part of our shoot at that location since this groom is Mr. Real Estate Extraordinaire, and since Red looks cute anywhere you put her, it worked.

Oh, how I love these images...they were taken at Cafe Malaga in Downtown McKinney where the food is amazing, the sangria might be even better, and the staff will treat you like you are one of their BFFs.

After Yesterday Morning's Incident...

...of putting my facial cream cleanser on my toothbrush (Mmm...not so minty...what the *#$% is this?...oh no.  It's Clean and Clear instead of Crest.  Arrrrghhhhh!), today is lookin' up.

Why and how, you ask?  Look no further than the slideshow below, folks.  Meet another JP Bride...let's call her "Red".

 

I am so inspired by these images of her and her groom that I almost can't believe that this was JUST the engagement session.  The colors raise me up Josh Groban style, and you can almost hear this a-stinkin'-dorable Red's laughter.  I just can't get enough of these photos!  I can only imagine how wonderful their wedding is going to be...stay tuned for that this coming September!

Lucky in Lurve

Meet this JP Bride and her hubby-to-be! 

Her sense of humor is dryer than sherry and she is one cool cat...so laid back and ready for whatever life brings her...be it this fine lookin' gent who's now her main man, a popsicle in the Texas heat, or a lucky penny found outside the ice cream shop..HEADS UP.  It is the little things that make her happy, and her happiness is infectious.  I hope you become infected with happiness today and NOT a case of the Mondays.  Happy looking!

Groom & Bride, Along for the Ride

Oh, these kids are so cute!  Yesterday, I had a super fun engagement session with a JP Bride with flawless peachy skin and her Jack Johnson look-alike groom.  This couple is so laid back that they let me drag them through swampy grass and mosquitoes and dirty parking lots.  They were wedged behind pillars and backed up against pipes and managed to smile all the while. 

Aside from the grunge of this downtown Wylie shoot, I found a gem of a seat for this couple.  While doing some test shots, I strolled by Candy & Jam Antiques and saw an adorable kissing bench...just perfect for my engaged and in "lurve" subjects.  The sweet owner, Candace, was so generous in helping me execute my creative vision...she let me put the bench in the middle of the street!  What a doll...if you are ever in Wylie, go say HI and check out her great stash of treasures.

Here are the adorable lovebirds...so photogenic, and such cool people...I cannot wait to photograph their wedding!  Yowzers, they are a handsome couple!
